Highlights of the 2023 Toyota Prius  

A 194 hp hybrid setup that uses a 2.0-liter hybrid inline-four gasoline engine powers the 2023 Prius. This unit pairs with a continuously variable automatic transmission; front-wheel drive is standard in this model. All-wheel drive models get a high-output permanent magnet electric motor to the rear axle generating a total powertrain output of 196 hp, which is a 60 percent increase.   

Toyota has taken enjoyment seriously and offers an intuitive infotainment system. The base and upper-level trims have a larger screen than the one before. You will find a new 8.0-inch infotainment screen as standard on the LE and XLE models. The Limited trim has a whopping 12.3-inch touchscreen. This infotainment system features “Hey Toyota” to voice control and update the infotainment system over the cloud with over-the-air-updates. Apple CarPlay®, Android Auto™, and Wi-Fi integration are standard on the larger screen.
