I took my older but beautifully running Toyota Camry in for 2 routine services - an oil change and a recharge of the coolant. I left with a car that made it one mile before making a noise like a squealing pig, as well as lurching forward. They saw an older woman with an older model car and they thought $$$ - as they then diagnosed the problem as the 'harmonic balancer' needs replacing. I took my highlander on a short 3.1 mile trip for groceries. WHEN i started to return home the truck wouldn't start right away. I assumed a battery problem. When I finally got it started upon arriving home Turned off the engine and checked my battery voltage with my multi meter the voltage was low. I unloaded my groceries and drove to Toyota of Ridgecrest. Paul did a check on the battery. The battery was shot. Bought a new battery and was on my way.

In mid-April 2024, while driving our 2022 Sienna on a 10,000-mile road trip throughout United States, we were standard while on our way to Death Valley. Something was draining our battery.
With no phone coverage in the area with our provider, we eventually found someone with a working phone and got a tow truck, who boosted our van and followed them back to the Ridgecrest Toyota dealer.
The dealer was quite busy, but Dory was able and eager to see what they could do so we could get back on the road.
